Well what a weekend that was. I'm sure if you're already following our Instagram or whatever we just had Dala in the City. A Day of unsanctioned street skating event in the city. The idea was to skate 4 named street spots for prizes and cash with the party ending up at the DIY. Good old Henry Kav was documenting it all day.
We met at Dev from 11 and Redhead was already killing it. The first spot was Jumbo Ledge, from there to Subway 9 where the Jam really got going. It had everything from Slams to NBD's the crowd was amazing even the pedestrians were down, well most apart from aging rockers that started shouting shit but they were heavily outnumbered.
We went from there to Ponds Forge blue rail where shit went down. As time passed the Jam was seriously over running so it was decided to abandon the road gap and head straight to the DIY for Beers, Pizza, music and laughs.
It went late on into the night and was an awesome day.
I realise I've kinda glazed over the day but, these days are made to be seen in the flesh, it's impossible to convey how good it was.
